Over The Pond To Scotland

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

For the first hour of this program we jump over the pond to feature music from Scotland, although one of the featured artists, Ed Miller, has lived more of his years in Texas than Scotland at this point. Miller is appearing in our broadcast area. In fact, the second hour is devoted to artists who have upcoming performances in our region during the next week. This programming is part of a concerted effort by Profiles in Folk to aid venues in our broadcast area because it’s become increasingly evident that the economic recession is taking its toll on audiences at concert halls and coffeehouses.
